OUR WEEKLY PROCRASTINATION

Photo: Future/Perfect movie still via Nowness.

Tara Subkoff's Future/Perfect is a multimedia piece shot at the Palazzo Malipiero during this year’s 55th Venice Biennale where the artist's longtime friend and collaborator Milla Jovovich played the role of impulsive shopaholic who tweeted, facebooked and skyped in character for six hours while being simultaneously streamed live online. Have a look at an extract in Nowness.

Friday and Saturday we spend all day long at the Barbican Centre experiencing some of the proposals of Hack the Barbican, an experimental playground of technology, art & entrepreneurship. Produced by The Trampery & the Barbican, it was an awesome experience where we get to be filmmakers with Archeology Project, have our 3D photo taken, created our own brew from fresh herbs and have a nice tea party with Emma Edmondson's 'I beg your pardon I never promised you an herb garden', play Donut Pong (best game ever, created by Special Moves) and see various musical, narrative, and experimental performances. Congratulations to everyone involved, hope to see you again next year!

And of course, there's another experimental website where you can spend several minutes (hours?) playing around with procrastinators' favorite animal (not very sure if this count as meaningful time-wasting or not, but it has cats on it), Matthew Guy's Catleidoscope. Read a little bit about him in It's Nice That, and play with the Catleidoscope here.
