If by any chance you’ve never experienced Notting Hill Carnival, well this next weekend is your weekend! Here is how is described in the website: twenty miles of vibrant colourful costumes surround over 40 static sound systems, hundreds of Caribbean food stalls, over 40,000 volunteers and over 1 million Notting Hill carnival revellers. Held each August Bank Holiday since 1966, the Notting Hill Carnival is the largest festival celebration of its kind in Europe, so miss out! The Book Club presents its third annual Bookstock street festival this bank holiday Sunday, and it’s gone nautical: Bookstock-On-Sea – a celebration of the great British summer and all the fun of the seaside, with a fun-filled Shoreditch twist. Join the event in FB for the most up to date info and pop in to The Book Club before 6.30pm everyday to grab your priority entry wristbands.
